Hi! First of all, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alice, I am almost 19 and I am an Italian girl living in the beautiful city of Bologna.
I have recently graduated from high school and now I am looking forward to working as an aupair for a loving, kind family during my gap year before starting university.
I’m a kind, responsible, and caring person with a deep love for animals and a genuine passion for working with children. I am also very hard-working so I think I could be a good pair of helping hands for you and your family and a big sister for your kids :)

I would describe myself as a kind, reliable, empathetic person. I love to connect with people and nature. I am also very caring and curious: I like to explore and learn new things and I would be delighted to join you and your family on many different adventures. When I am not working or studying, I love reading and being active (going to the gym, hiking, walking my dog). 
I enjoy spicy foods, reading a good book while it’s raining, and talking to my dog as if he could understand me.
I would also add that I am quite independent, my parents always taught me the basis of how to live on my own and I have always been educated to keep my spaces tidy and do my household chores.

In the last few years, I have accumulated childcare experience by working for different families in my neighborhood. My duties included taking care of the kids, picking them up from school, preparing them snacks, playing with them, and coming up with fun activities to do together (crafts, treasure hunts, invent stories) while also helping them with their homework.
I also have a little sister that I have always taken care of and many cousins that I babysit occasionally.
From my experience, I know how challenging and tiring can be to look after kids but also all the many beautiful moments it can give. Personally, when it comes to children, I take my responsibilities very seriously and I truly enjoy working with them.

My native language is Italian.
I have been studying English in school for more than 6 years. I have a Cambridge IGCSE certification in English as a second language (grade A+), therefore my English level is B2 to C1.
I also have basic French knowledge (A2), which I studied for 3 years.
Overall, I have a great passion for foreign languages and I would love to learn more of them and improve the ones that I already know.
