I believe that I would make a great Au Pair because I am adaptable, courteous, and hardworking. I have always been a top student, due to working well with others, taking direction well, and being open-minded. Additionally, I have worked many jobs throughout my life, from working on farms, to hospitality at restaurants, to designing at startups, and working at a competitive corporate office job. Throughout these experiences, I have really developed the ability to learn quickly, understand expectations, and keep a growth mindset.

My father had a restaurant when I was growing up, and he was truly a unique spirit in that he would form deep, genuine connections with his customers. This got to a point that we would be invited to their family Christmas parties and to stay at their lake houses. Because I grew up this way, I am used to making family fast (I grew up calling at least 50 different people my "aunt" or "uncle") and practicing good manners as a guest to another family. My father passed away when I was in high school, but I believe being an Au Pair gives me the opportunity to carry on his legacy of connecting deeply with others, forming family while moving through life. I would be honored to have the chance to Au Pair for your child and family.

I am experienced as a babysitter locally. I have sat for children between the ages of 3-16, since I was 14 years old. I am very responsible. For some more details - I do not smoke or drink alcohol; I have had my own and pet-sat other pets since even 2nd grade; I have been watching over / cooking for myself and my sister since age 12 due to working parents. I love to cook and organize the house. Often when I was on breaks from school, I would dedicate a few days of break just to help organize the kit, fridge, bathroom, storage, etc. for my mum at home.
Additionally, I love traveling, even when alone, and so I am comfortable in unfamiliar situations, being independent, and forming new communities and connections. Lastly, my job experiences as a hostess, college essay tutor, National Honors Society tutor in high school, and farm worker have equipped me with lots of people/soft skills!
