Hello! I am Lj, 21 years old and I am a Filipino.


I am used to having kids around, since I was young, I was exposed to taking care of our cousins since I am one of the eldest. Whenever summertime comes, we usually gather at our grandparents' house and spend our time there. I have a lot of cousins that are much younger than me and I personally saw how they were taken care of. Back when my mom was pregnant with my brother, I actually need to take care of my other siblings. I cook breakfast for them and since school starts at 6:30, I need to wake up at 4:00 and cook our meals for breakfast and lunch, wake them up for them to prepare and while they are doing their thing, I would sometimes iron our uniforms. My family is a great cook, most of the time I would watch my mom, aunt and my grandmother cook and as I grew older, I had an interest in cooking which also helps me in a way that I can cooks meals for my siblings. Now I am taking care of my brother, I make sure that he eats both his breakfast and lunch ,I drop him off to school, help with assignments, we would watch a movie, we would play together and whenever he would ask something that he is curious of, I would explain things to him. I can also be a great help in doing household chores, doing the dishes, and I wanted to be an Au pair because it gives opportunities. Learning new culture and language as well is one of the reasons why I wanted to be an Au pair.
