Dear Host Family,

My name is Rosa Martí Calafat, and I come from a beautiful town in Alicante, Spain. I am currently finishing my final year of high school (Second Year of Bachillerato) and will be available to join a family starting this December or next January. I am very excited about the opportunity to live in another country, improve my English skills, and experience a new culture while doing something I am truly passionate about: taking care of children.

I have experience working with children at a horseback riding camp, where I supported and supervised them in their daily activities. In addition, I have often taken care of my younger cousins, which has taught me to be patient, responsible, and confident with children of different ages.

One of my biggest goals is to achieve a high level of English, as I would love to study English Philology at university and eventually become an English teacher. I am also very interested in learning new languages and exploring different cultures, and I believe that living abroad will help me grow both personally and professionally.

I consider myself a kind, empathetic, and organized person. I am also very responsible and would be happy to help with household tasks if needed. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and loving environment where children can feel happy and secure.

I will be obtaining my driver’s license in December, which will allow me to be more independent and assist with errands or transportation if required. I also already hold a motorcycle license, which has given me experience and responsibility on the road.

Moreover, animals are a very important part of my life. I have five horses and have been riding since I was four years old. I cannot imagine my life without them, and I have always found great joy and peace in the company of animals. If your family has pets, I would be delighted to help take care of them as well.

Also, I’ll be turning 18 in November. That’s why in some places it might already show that I’m 18 — because I had originally planned to start a bit later. But I’d also be happy to start earlier if needed.
