Hello from Japan!

I am Kaede, and I am from Osaka, Japan. I am currently a junior majoring in marketing and minoring in communication at the University of Mount Union, United States.

I am known for being creative, adaptable, and organized. I love coming up with fun activities to engage children while ensuring their safety and well-being. I am also great at multitasking, which helps me manage different responsibilities efficiently. My friends say that I am positive, patient, and always willing to help others.

I come from a loving, very close-knit family in Osaka. I am the middle child of a Japanese mother and father. I have two brothers. One is three years older than me and has lived in Germany in 2019. He currently lives in Australia. The other is two years younger than me and he has been doing judo for about 10 years. He is also considering going abroad after he graduates from his university.
My parents have always encouraged me to explore new cultures and learn new things. I also have a wonderful group of friends all over the world who describe me as caring and reliable. They are supportive of my decision to become an au pair, knowing how much I love working with children and exploring new cultures.

I graduated from a Catholic high school called Assumption Kokusai (which means "International" in Japanese) Senior High School. The sister school of my high school is in France called Asc Assumption Bordeaux. So I have never been to France, but I studied French for three years in high school and I took DELF A2 at the age of 17.
When I was 16, I went to Canada for two months to study English. From this experience, I learned how to be independent from my parents. I still keep in touch with my host family and from last Christmas to New Year's, I visited them and had a great time with them.
I am currently a junior at the University of Mount Union, United States, majoring in marketing and minoring in communication. I am studying in the United States through a unique study abroad program called the double-degree program. As you can tell from the name of the program, I am majoring in one more degree which is English language and communication at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan.
My international education has taught me to be open-minded and adaptable, skills that I believe are valuable for an au pair experience.

I am fluent in Japanese and English, having studied English extensively and lived abroad in Canada and the U.S. I would be happy to help your children learn Japanese or improve their English skills through fun and interactive communication.
