My name is Beatriz, I am an 18-year-old Spanish student who has just finished high school, and I will be starting university at the end of the year. I have always felt a strong vocation for being with children, I truly enjoy their energy, creativity and honesty. I believe that children are the easiest way to understand a culture, because through them you can see how a society grows, educates and cares for its future.
I believe that being part of your family would be a true exchange. On one hand, I would love to learn from your way of life, your language and your traditions. On the other hand, I feel I can offer your child more than just care, I can bring the Spanish language and culture into their daily routine in a natural and fun way (but I could also adapt to English). Whether through games, songs or simple everyday conversations, I would love to help them grow up feeling comfortable with another language and open to different cultures from an early age.
One of the main reasons I want to become an Aupair and nanny is because I’m passionate about languages and fascinated by the differences and similarities between cultures. I see this experience as a unique opportunity to learn from daily life, compare ways of living and explore potential places where I might want to live in the future. I also believe that living with a host family is the most authentic and meaningful way to connect with people and gain these experiences.
I’m qualified for the position because I have experience working with children from different cultural backgrounds, as I have lived my whole life in a multicultural neighbourhood in Madrid. I’ve worked as a nanny and also as a Spanish teacher for children from various countries, including China and Belgium. These experiences have taught me to adapt to different ways of communicating, to be patient and to understand each child’s individual needs. I consider myself a warm, responsible and emotionally intelligent person. I’m someone who listens, stays calm in different situations, and genuinely enjoys creating a safe, fun and supportive space for kids. I believe these qualities, along with my enthusiasm and openness, could make me a positive addition to your family and someone your child can trust and enjoy spending time with.
