Hello! My name is Piper, I am a 21 year old American. I have been living in Paris for 3 years and really love the city.
I am originally from Tennessee and will be soon graduating from Paris College of Art with a degree in Film Art. I am looking for an au pair job to be able to continue living in Paris while I decide where I would like to live next.
I am looking for a family for September of 2024, and to be with for at least a year.
Throughout my time here in Paris I have been regularly babysitting French children to help with their English, as well as babysitting for families on vacation.
I am hoping to meet a friendly family that will also allow me my own independence!
Since I am currently in Paris I would be open to meeting you in person to get to know each other more.

I have worked with two French families to help the children with their English. The first family I visited for a few hours every day, taking the kids to school in the morning and then returning to help them with their homework in the afternoon. The boys I took care of were 9 and 11.
The other French family I still currently babysit for once a week. I pick up a 6 year old girl and 9 year old boy from school and walk them home. I usually make sure they shower, help them with their homework, feed them dinner and then we play games.
I am a certified babysitter on Marypop, where I often find jobs babysitting for families who are visiting Paris, allowing the parents to have a night out. On that website I have found families with children from 11 months up to 11 years old, watching up to 4 children at a time.
In the United States I also had experience teaching children's yoga classes throughout high school.
I love Paris and have found it very rewarding to work with kids over the course of my life in this city so far. I really love how creative and playful kids tend to be. As a fairly creative person myself, I enjoy entertaining children with plenty of games and arts and crafts.
