Hello!
My name is Christian, I’m 25 years old, and I am a transgender man originally from Miami, USA. I’ve been living in Europe for almost 4 years, doing a Masters in Environmental Science in Amsterdam, and now living in Barcelona and learning spanish (I have Cuban/Puerto Rican heritage but not fully fluent in Spanish).
I’m currently waiting for my Spanish residency permit to process and I’m interested in being a Au Pair or Live-in tutor while my application is pending. I have babysitting experience with my nephew and other children of family and friends and love working with children as you get the opportunity to see the world through their eyes, while also educating them and opening their perspectives.
I’m looking to help a family with teaching their children acceptance and empathy, as well as English, science, and math, all to grow their understanding, interest, and curiosity for the world around them.
In addition to having experience taking care of children and pets (I also grew up surrounded by, and taking care of all types of animals), I have taken first aid classes, and I’m also very helpful in household chores. I would love to help a family provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children to thrive.
