Dear host family
My name is Valentina, I am 20 years old, I live in Bogotá the capital city. I am writting this letter to get the opportunity to take care of your children. I live with my mom, her name is Viviana, she is 40 years old, we have a good realtionship I help her in the house cleaning and cooking.

I graduated from high school 4 years ago, after that I have been studying differents subjects to increase my knowledge as cooking, digital marketing and software analysis and development, I got the opportunity to go to Australia to learn english for a year and a half. since I came back to Colombia. About me in my free time I like to read, swim, dance,hiking, ride a bike, watch series, do sports, for example basketball, soccer and go to the gym. I am a loving person who likes to see the positive sides of everything, responsable , tidy, honest, respectfull, friendly and talkative that could help to be the best person for your children. One of my biggest dreams is get the oportunnity to be an Au pair in America because i would like go to USA for first time and spend time with children having an incredible experience with them. One of the things I like most about taking care of children is how they always bring joy and laughter to any situation. They teach you to appreciate the little moments. I would like to improve my English learn more about your culture and I could tell you about Colombian culture.

Having this experience I would learn about a new culture, your life style, traditions, next to you and your children it would be awesome. Now telling my experience I take care for my friend´s son, his name is Felipe he is 7 years old, I take care him from 2 pm to 6pm, monday to friday, 4 hours for day and 20 hours for week, i pick up him after school, i make lunch to him, help him to the homeworks, twice a week I take him to his soccer training. I dress him after school and before training.

Before pick up Felipe in the morning i take care my neighbor´s son from 9am to 12pm, monday to friday,I take care 3 hours for day and 15 hours for week, his name is Fabian and he is 2 years old, I have been taking care of him since last year, i wake him up every day, , iI help him to take a shower, I give him breakfast , I dress him, we spend time playing games for babys to estimulate his brain and body.

At weekends I help Juan and Santiago, they are family friend´s children they live in the upper level of my home. They are 8 and 10 years old Juan being the older. I help them to their homework for 4hours, saturday and sunday I start 10 am to 12pm, and let's go to the park to play meanwhile their mom is outside.
