Dear Future Host Family,

Hi! I am a 21 year old student living in Boston who loves meeting new people, having someone to care for, & traveling. Growing up as the oldest of four children with parents in the military, I got accustomed to caring for/taking care of children as well as settling into new places quickly at a young age. My first job was when I was 13 as a babysitter for a young boy of whom I came to enjoy spending my time with. Overtime, I began to see my time with him less & less as a job, & more & more as a beautiful opportunity. The responsibility of caring for children is one that I do not take lightly, but not too seriously either as I think children respond better & connect more easily to people that find enjoyment in being there for & with them.
