Dear Host Family
I’m Laura,
I like learning and sharing what I have learned. My hobbies are read and watch movies. Novels, biographies and business subjects. Chick-flick but also movies based on athletes´ real-life.
Attending concerts, I think is great to spend time with friends.

I practiced volleyball, softball and swimming in college. After that Pilates and lift weight were the workout that I have done. Lately, I´ve been taking tennis lessons in order to start to learning a new sport.. Definitely enjoy long walks and it is important to say that I really like to see landscapes and take pictures. It is the way I relaxed and pull myself together.
I´m interested in starting hiking. It could help me to connect with nature, friends, and ourselves, as well.

I´ve worked as a professor at ITESM, business college, for 4 years and I enjoy giving my classes. I have a bachelor in agriculture and have a master degree in business administration (MBA). I´ve focused on having a positive impact on my students, coaching and inspiring them to achieve their commitments. My leadership skills have allowed me to guide them with compassion and humility.

I´m a mother of two sons, 27 and 24 years old. When they were children, after school, they trained sports such baseball, swimming and soccer. They participated in some competitions and I was there to see and support them. My oldest graduated from college three years ago and my youngest last month.

My dad was with me and I took care for 1 year, then he came back to his house. It was a great experience that gave me another perspective on senior people care.

I would like to share with my host family my expertise as a mother and professor. Learning about national culture, language and experiencing the local.
