Hello Family, my name is Julie, I am 17 years old and I'm from Germany. I'm excited to stay with an open, friendly family in Italy, France or Spain. For 1-2 Months, I would like to care for 3 children or less. I am happy to assimilate to your daily routine and activities.
I speak both german and english fluently and possess basic level skills in french (B1).
For me, it's not just working in a foreign or broadening my horizon, it's taking on responsibility and caring for children that motivated me to sign up as an au pair. I want to use the time until I go off to university by becoming part of your family and supporting you in your everyday life.
l am a big fan of both organising and planning. I take joy in supporting my friends, Family and classmates and working with other people. I would describe my strengths as being able to put myself into other people shoes, understanding what and how they think and then compromising. In addition, I quickly assimilate to new situations and am able to navigate my way through them.
At 15 i completed a placement in an outdoors kindergarden spending all day outside playing and looking after the children, which was a very joyful experience overall. In 10th grade i became a mentor for a class of 5th graders who were new to our school. As a group we would spend time with them during the breaks and be there for them when they needed help or support. 3 Years ago I signed up for the tutor program at our school, and since then i've been regularly teaching students between 10-13 by furthering their english skills.
Since we already have children (currently toddler age) in our extended family, I often get to spend time with them at and outside of family functions.

I'm excited to stay with a friendly host family that integrates me into their lifestyle.
