Hi there! My name is Kalyn and I’m so excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and hopefully join your family!
I’m originally from Namibia , and I’m someone who’s known for being very loving, trustworthy, and full of positive energy. I’m a fun-spirited and adventurous person, and I absolutely love the idea of exploring a new country, experiencing your culture, and truly becoming a part of your family, not just as an au pair, but as someone you can rely on and connect with.
I grew up in a loving family and I have an older brother and younger sister.
I have a strong background in working with children. I was always the trusted babysitter in my family, looking after kids of all ages,from toddlers to pre-teens. I’ve always been the one family and friends turn to when they need someone responsible, caring, and patient. I also had the amazing opportunity to work in a primary school, where I got hands-on experience supporting children with their learning, helping with classroom activities, and building strong bonds with them day to day. It really strengthened my passion for working with kids and understanding their unique needs and personalities.Before that, I worked in the food industry as a manager at a company that specialized in producing healthy meals for children. That experience taught me a lot about nutrition, organization, and the importance of giving kids a healthy start in life—something I’m still very passionate about. I also learned how to work well under pressure, how to lead a team, and how to stay organized and focused even when things get busy—all skills I bring with me in everything I do.
Currently, I’m in my second year of law school, and I plan to complete my degree online while I’m abroad. Balancing work, studies, and personal life has really shaped me into someone who’s committed, reliable, and good at managing time. I’m ready to give your family my full attention and support while still pursuing my goals. I believe it's all about balance—and I’ve learned how to create a life that is full, meaningful, and well-managed.
What truly motivates me is being around children. Their energy, curiosity, and honesty inspire me every day. I love coming up with fun and educational activities, exploring outdoors, playing games, and just being part of their little world. I find joy in the simple things—bedtime stories, arts and crafts, baking together, or just talking about their day. I want your children to feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for.
I’m not just looking for a job. I’m looking for a home away from home. Somewhere I can build real connections, celebrate small moments, and become someone your children can trust, laugh with, and learn from. I want to be more than a caregiver,I want to be a positive role model, a big sister, and a true part of your family.
