儿童照看经验
I have had a few friends in the past who have thoroughly enjoyed their time as an Au Pair while overseas, which has allowed them to meet some fantastic families and friends while doing so. I thought this could be a great way to transition from the little island at the bottom of the world over seas. What better way than to become part of someone's family for a period of time!
I have a wide variety of experience with children dating back a number of years. I have been a high school and club volleyball coach for children aged 13–17 for almost 6 years and have had great enjoyment in getting to know these kids each individually and understand their own learning styles and personalities. The reason I have been involved in this for so long now is because I enjoy being around kids and kids seem to respond pretty well to me!
I also have a 11-year-old brother (or half brother). Who came along a fair bit later in my life, so from the age of 12 to present I have been involved in the last 11 years of his life. When he was just a baby, changing his nappy, feeding him his bottle, helping put him down to bed—through to now—playing basketball with him, fortnite, scooting down the street with him, driving him to swimming lessons and just sitting and chatting about the latest primary school "dramas"!
I think I would be a great Au Pair, as I have had years of exposure to various ages of children in differing circumstances. I think given, my calm and kind temperament I would fit in to just about any family situation where needed and am sure I will be able to get your Kids to crack a smile or to tell me their latest school "dramas" too.
