My name is Abbie I’m 21 and from Scotland. I love to travel and I love working with children, so an au pair would be perfect for me. I’m a very kind, bubbly and respectful person and would be an asset to any home. I have a full UK driving license and have been driving for a little over a year. I have a younger brother with autism which I help look after which arguably has prepared me for an au pair position. I’m currently in college studying to become a teacher, so the months of June July and august are the months I am available as they’re my summer holidays.

I have been a babysitter for various family members or family friends children and have built some experience from these times. I also have babysat my younger brother quite a bit so that has also helped to build experience with children. I previously volunteered at a centre with children aged 0-3 helping to plan activities and just playing in general! Beyond childcare, I am excited to embrace the cultural exchange opportunity that being an au pair provides. I look forward to sharing my own culture, traditions, and language while learning from your family’s unique experiences. I believe that this cross-cultural exchange can foster a strong bond and create lifelong memories.
