儿童照看经验
I grew up in the countryside of Brazil, in a region called Minas Gerais, where I had the privilege of accompanying my mother, a nurse, on visits to vulnerable communities. These experiences exposed me to different realities and sparked a deep sense of empathy, shaping my understanding of the importance of care and support for those in need.
Additionally, I come from a large family with 15 younger cousins. Although I am an only child, I was always surrounded by them, and we grew up together, sharing many moments of joy and fun. This environment taught me the values of cooperation, patience, and how to create a supportive atmosphere for those around me.
I have also gained valuable experience working with children through various organizations. For instance, I spent one month volunteering at a school in the outskirts of Itacoatiara, in the Amazon region, where I assisted with educational activities and supported students in their learning process.
Furthermore, during my time at Instituto Guaicuy, a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on supporting communities affected by environmental disasters, I worked closely with families, including many children. I participated in community-based projects, providing support and guidance to children in vulnerable situations, helping them understand and navigate their rights, and organizing activities to create a safe and positive environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with and care for children from diverse backgrounds.
I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because it offers a unique opportunity to combine my passion for childcare with my desire to experience Austrian culture. Family is incredibly important to me, and with Austrian roots, I am eager to reconnect with this side of my heritage and learn more about my family’s history. Living in Austria would allow me to deepen this connection, improve my German, and immerse myself in local traditions. Additionally, I have academic goals and plan to pursue a PhD in the future. Being in Austria would place me close to universities and research centers that align with my interests, further enriching my personal and professional growth.
I believe cultural exchange is one of the most enriching experiences, and being an Au Pair would allow me to learn from my host family while also sharing my own background and perspectives. I am excited about the possibility of building a strong, meaningful relationship with a family, supporting them in their daily routines, and creating wonderful memories with their children. I am confident that my caring nature, reliability, and adaptability make me a great candidate for this experience.
