Dear family,

I'm Jessie and I live in Mexico, but I have Canadian citizenship because my mother is Canadian. My first language is Spanish, so my mother is helping me with this letter, although I do speak English!

I'm currently a high school student in an art-based program, but went to a Waldorf school since pre-school. If you know Waldorf schools, it's very focused on child development and learning through the arts.

During COVID I took a year off school and worked in a Waldorf "bubble" as they called them, where kids were able to come together and continue learning and playing. I recognized that I am really good with children!

I am in my second year of high school and would like to spend the summer in Canada working with children. I am available July and August to work as an au pair with a family who would like a live-in nanny for the summer.

My personality is quiet and more introverted, gentle and patient. I am a little shy but have a great sense of humor. (My mother is writing this part. ;)
