Hi! My name is Darcie, I am a 28 year old cafe manager from Victoria, Australia. I have wanted to become an Au Pair for a few years now as I love children, and would also love the opportunity to be able to travel. I have been in the hospitality industry for nearly 9 years now, starting at a pub and moving into full time work there and becoming bistro supervisor. I started working at a very busy cafe on the side at the end of 2020, and moved on from the pub when I became Manager at the cafe. I'm an incredibly hard worker, and any job that is given to me I throw myself into.
I have two nieces; Edie (4 months old) & Ella (5 years old), and a nephew Ollie (4 years old). I see them every few weeks and look after them frequently, and they are just about my favourite people in the world. My Plan is to move to Scotland or England for half a year, and they will be what I miss most about Australia! I think my experience with them would make me a great Au Pair.
