My name is Kate and I am a 24 year old from Nebraska and current resident of Houston, Texas! I graduated with a degree in Spanish Education and it is my dream to live and work in a Spanish-speaking country and eventually teach the Spanish that I've learned to other native English speakers.
I want to become an Au Pair for a few reasons. 1. I love the Spanish language and hope to improve my Spanish language skills during my time there. 2. I love spending time with children! I love their energy, curiosity, and playfulness. 3. I love learning and trying new things: cultures, food, lifestyles, etc. 4. I am young and single and hope to experience as much as possible during this time in my life.
I hope to get the fantastic opportunity of getting to know your family and experiencing life in your country :)

Some fun activities I love to do with the children are taking them to the pool, drawing pictures, reading, and anything outdoors! I applied for this position because I love kids and the new perspectives they give me with their beautiful imaginations! I hope to make every child feel cared for and help them to know their worth. I think it is important to teach kids some basic skills of responsibility and how to have fun while doing so! I love to laugh and play with the kids and simply enjoy the experience with them!
