Dear future host family,
my name is Marie and I live in the south of Germany. In summer I will be 19 years old. Since I was a little child my family and I traveled to Sweden, which became my favourite country.
I adored younger children since I was a little child myself and I alwas wanted to have younger siblings.
It is important for me, that I will become a family member and am welcome to participate in some family activities at the weekend.
I´m looking forward to explore the swedish nature and culture. For example I´d like to learn about the traditional swedish holidays.
I´m teaching myself a bot of swedish and I can already understand slow-spoken podcasts and series or films for children.

My two younger cousins live close to us. They were born when I was in primary scool and since then I took care of them, when we visited them.
I also babysit a four year old girl once a week, which I enjoy a lot. I like to play with her role play games we invent. She is really creative and we have a lot of fun together.
Once a week the scouting group, my friend and I lead, meets. They are a group of active kids aged 8-10. We like to play running games with them, craft, bake or take them to the forrest nearby. We also go on short trips and summer camps. I like to be outside with the scout kids. They always invent funny games and have a lot of energy!
After my Au Pair I want to become a primary school teacher, which I´m looking forward to.
When I interact with children I am active as well as patient and warm-hearted. Im good at talking respectfully to them. My friends and family describe me as a humorous and happy person. I always enjoy the little things and smile a lot.
