Dear host families! :)

My name is Jana and I am 22 years old. I am a university student from Germany and live near Cologne. I am currently in the final year of my bachelor's degree, studying English and German to become a secondary teacher. As part of my university program, I want to stay abroad in an English-speaking country (official language needs to be English) for up to three months.

I have always loved working with children and enjoy creating a positive and engaging environment for them. Whether it's playing, reading to them, helping with homework, or planning fun activities, I am always happy to support your family in your daily life.  

I would describe myself as responsible, patient, creative, and open-minded. I love discovering new cultures and sharing my own, and I see becoming an au pair as a wonderful opportunity to improve my language skills, gain valuable experience, and become part of a welcoming family. I am also happy to help with light household tasks to make daily life a little easier for everyone.  

I look forward to connecting with a family that values cultural exchange, open and honest communication, and a warm home atmosphere.
