Hello! My name is Kayla and I'm 33, retired, and looking into moving into Europe by myself. I like the more involved aspect with being an au pair in France for moving to the country and assisting an elderly person in some layman tasks sounds like a lovely way to unplug and also maybe find some things that are important to me. The candidate should host me because I am a low-risk option and can be insightful. My medical background can give you additional peace of mind if you are worried about a relative as opposed to shrugging off some of the same things others might shrug off. I'm an introvert and am glad to listen as well as spend time out of the house with your loved one whether at a museum or a park. I don't generally have a will to exert my infuence over others and consider myself more an artist than a nomad. I plan to attend language school in France to learn French and many offer options that are congruent with such an arrangement. I have to move anyways and would hate for Europe to get put on the backburner due to life's unexpected demands. Getting to practice French with a French family would also be an unparalleled experience, and this setting would be different than my experiences with my landlord's family in Italy (who I am still friends with on Facebook!).
