My name is Cassandra, I’m 21 years old and originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I now live in Germany and hold a Greek (EU) passport. English is my native language. I work as both a caregiver and a nanny, offering compassionate, attentive support to both the elderly and young children.

My passion for caregiving began at home. After my grandfather became partially paralyzed in an accident, I lived with my grandparents for a year, helping my grandmother care for him and my aunt, who has Down syndrome. That time taught me the value of patience, empathy, and the importance of simply being there for someone.

As a nanny, I bring the same warmth and dedication to caring for children — creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel secure and supported.

Whether I’m assisting an older person with daily routines or helping raise young children, I always bring a calm, respectful, and dependable presence into the home. I genuinely care about the people I support and aim to make their lives a little lighter and more joyful each day.

儿童照看经验

My caregiving journey began within my own family. After my grandfather’s accident, I moved in to help with everyday tasks — from mobility support to simply sitting and talking with him to lift his spirits. At the same time, I helped care for my aunt, who requires full-time support due to her disability. These experiences taught me how to care for individuals with both physical and intellectual needs, and showed me the power of presence, consistency, and kindness.

In addition to elderly care, I also work as a nanny, supporting young children with the same empathy and attentiveness. Whether it’s helping a child feel safe and understood or offering companionship and practical support to an older adult, I approach caregiving with patience and warmth.

I would love to be a caregiver abroad because I believe that care knows no borders. Working in a new country offers the chance to connect with people from different backgrounds, expand my understanding of care practices, and grow both personally and professionally. It’s a way for me to offer something meaningful while also learning from others.
