Hello host families! My name is Alesandra but I like to go by Ally, and I am a soon to be college graduate from the United States. I am looking to spend a gap year or two in between now and graduate school. I want to be an Au Pair because I greatly enjoy looking after, getting to know, and spending time with children. During these gap years, I would love to enrich my time and experience traveling to a country that I have not had the opportunity to visit. I have only been out of the country once and I have a longing to explore new areas and learn about a new culture. I love to meet new people and see the connections that we share.

If chosen to be hosted, I would give all of my possible effort into being a great Au Pair for your children with the highest responsibility and care. I would like to one day be a Pediatric Physician Assistant so I would love the opportunity to further interact with children and care for them. I have lots of experience with childcare in different environments and age groups. My first experience started with watching my 6 years younger sister with I was 12, then I started babysitting family friend's and neighbor's children usually aged 1-10. When I turned 15 I became a counselor at my favorite summer camp where I was the primary guide and caretaker for children aged 10-13, overseeing them and having fun for a whole week. I have done this position for 5 years, and my second year I got the Outstanding Counselor of the Year Award :). I have also been a mentor and leader in my church's Sunday and Vacation Bible School since I was 14!
