Dear Host Family,

My name is Amal, I'm from Italy but I'm currently in Paris and I'm 20.
In Italy I lived in a little village in the north of Italy, which is about 30min from Milan.
My village is very quiet, but I also like living in the city.

My family consists of 6 people: my Dad, my Mum, my 3 sisters, who are 15, 25, 29 and me.

Ilove cooking. I prefer to cook cakes, muffins, biscuits or sweets in general, but I think I'm quite good in coking savoury food too. During the weekends I always help my mum preparing lunch for everybody like homemade pasta or lasagne.

I'm quite organized and I like to create new routine every month.

I eat more or less everything, but I'm not a big fan of red meat, and I can't stand cabbage.

Since I was little, I used to help my aunt looking after my two little cousins who were 4 and 6 years old.
They were very energetic and sometimes it was very difficult to calm them down when there were some fights. We always tried to keep them active.
I have experience with children with hyperactivity problems.


In the High School I studied hotel-management where I did 5 years of cooking.

My dream it has always been to improve my English and French, to realise my dream job and because I love languages.

I love travelling and I thought working as an au pair in a foreign country would be perfect to improve my English and French and learn a bit more of different cultures.

I am independent, responsible, enthusiastic, caring and loving.
I love taking care of children, playing with them, cooking and making food for them, and treat them like my sister and brother.
