In 2020, I had the privilege of experiencing an au pair year in Germany. There, I gained valuable experience working with children. It was a wonderful year during which I had the opportunity to spend time with three wonderful children. I found great joy in observing their development and supporting them along their journey. Playing together, reading stories, and crafting brought me immense happiness and helped me to better understand myself as well. Naturally, I also assisted the children with less enjoyable tasks such as homework. It was rewarding to see them motivated and proud after completing their tasks.
Additionally, my voluntary social year in disability assistance in Germany allowed me to gather extensive experience in household management and apply theoretical knowledge into practice.
