Hello my Name is Mary,
I'm currently still in school, in my final year of high school. I'm 17 years old and live in northern Germany next to the Baltic Sea. I always liked kids and started to babysit a few years ago. I'm not 100% sure what to study in university so I decided to take a gap year, also because I was invited to visited a girls secondary school in Malawi, Africa between February and March 2025. That's also the reason why I can't do a full year of au pair and only 6 to 7 months.
I'm a bit shy at first but once I warmed up I'm a really open person. furthermore, friends would describe me as a very friendly, warm-hearted and social person. during my exchange to France in the fall semester 2 years ago I have learned to deal with very difficult situations, to cope with them and to persevere despite everything. So I would also add that I can handle raff and stressful situations and especially with children there is a higher change stressful situations can happen. Sometimes during puberty I fell in love with the English language and now use it more than my native langue German. I also fell in love with England and would love to not only study but also live there at some point. So I would love to do my au pair in the UK :)
