Hallo, my name is Julia and I'm 27 y.o.
*already in Germany, looking for family in München only*
I grew up in a big city (in the cultural capital of Russia) St. Petersburg, studied at the Pedagogical University there.
Some years ago I've spent a year in Norway as an exchange student. Since then, I have been interested even more in exploring foreign culture, learning languages and making friends all over the world.
I love spending time with children, and I have modest experience: looking after my friend's brothers, internship in kindergarten, as well as part-time work in a summer camp. Moreover, for the a several months I have worked already as Au Pair in Germany.
In my free time, I prefer reading books, watching movies with subtitles, walking and playing sports (go to the swimming pool or dance). I believe that this is an important part of life, because without physical activity and fresh air there is no energy.
I love city life, the opportunity to go to exhibitions and theaters there.. But I am also attached to nature. Spending time in parks, forests and countryside is very important. I do like animals and I have a cat by myself which is 17 years old.
Being with host family, I hope to overcome the language barrier in a language environment, gain some new experience and skills, make good friends.
It is also important for me that my host family wants to speak German with me and not only English, and ready to help me in improving my German :)
