I hope this post finds you all well. I'm on the lookout for a fantastic host family to au pair for in the summer of 2024, starting in June!
What am I looking for? Well, I'm hoping to find a host family that I can really bond with. Family is such a special thing, and I believe that forming a strong connection is key to a successful au pair experience.
A little about me: Currentluy I’m a junior at Salisbury University majoring in early childhood education. I come equipped with multiple years of childcare experience, specializing in caring for children aged 1-7. Their laughter and curiosity light up my world, and I can't wait to share in their adventures.
Outside of childcare, I'm a lover of outdoor activities - hiking, picnics in the park, and maybe even some friendly games with the kiddos. I'm also a bookworm, so if your family enjoys reading, I'm sure we'll have plenty to chat about. And let's not forget coffee shops – they're practically my second home! ☕

I attended a technical high school specializing in early childhood education to give you a glimpse of my background. This experience kindled my passion for working with children and nurturing their growth and development. During this time, I had the privilege of working in a laboratory preschool, which honed my childcare skills and taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and adaptability when working with young minds.
I am enrolled at Salisbury University, pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. My academic journey deepened my understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. I am eager to apply the knowledge and skills I have gained in a real-world setting, and I believe becoming an au pair is the ideal opportunity to do so. I also work at a childcare center called Mitchell’s Marshal Arts with children ages 1-13. I have also received my certificate of completion for the following courses: Child Care and COVID-19 and Including All Children and The American Disabilities Act.
