I am an American woman, 29 years of age from New York. At home, I work as a yoga instructor. In my spare time, I love to meditate, take walks outdoors, write, and podcast. I love animals, fitness, and nature. Traveling is a passion of mine and I enjoy learning about new cultures and exploring different cities. I speak fluent English and am enrolled in a TEFL course to be a language teacher. I will graduate as a certified TESOL instructor on December 21, 2023. I take Spanish lessons for fun and can also speak some Albanian and understand Italian.

I am looking for a host family for a language exchange or to au pair in Barcelona, Spain from the start of January until the end of May/beginning of June. I will be taking Spanish classes Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 13:30 in the city center (Gracia), so I will not be available during that time period. As I am in an online program studying to be a child psychologist, WiFi at home is a must. Weekends off is a requirement since I travel for work. I am seeking an arrangement somewhere around 3-5 hours per day. I do not spend much time on my phone, however. I am very respectful, kind, mature, affectionate, caring, easy to get along with, and organized. I do not smoke. I have health insurance.

I am a vegetarian and eat primarily plant-based. I would love a family to enjoy meals together with, get to know, and be welcomed as part of the family. I would love to share experiences and learn from one another. I enjoy children and have previous experience as a live-in babysitter. I can happily provide references upon request.
