Dear future host family,
my name is Antonia and I'm a nineteen year old girl from Germany. With my family and two cats I live in a small village, but I'm ready to see more of the world! Right now I'm in my last year of school and will graduate in 2025. I´m a very creative person, which you will see when you read about my hobbies. At first I'm a bit shy, but when I get to know people I'm pretty open and like to tell stories and joke around. You should host me because I like to work with children and I already have some experience with it. I love to travel and I am motivated to practise a new language, adapt to a new lifestyle and help a family with their kids. I'm able to drive a car and did a first-aid course. Also I'm an organized person, but I´m also open for some spontaneous plans. From my host family I expect them to integrate me into their family and see me as a family member, but also respect my free time and let me go out and travel with friends. I also expect regulated working hours and free days. A room for my own would also be important for me. In exchange I will do my best to fulfill my job and tasks and hope i can bring some fun and help my host family. I´m flexible in with my duration of stay and the start of my stay.

儿童照看经验

I don't have experience as an Au Pair, but I still have experience in child care. Since 5 years I´m training a girls gymnastics group every Friday. They are 8 to 15 years old. So I know how to handle a group of children and can tell them what to do if its necessary, but I like to talk to children on eye leve, if they are old enough. Also I did an exchange year back in 2022 in Canada where I lived with a family that had two little kids, 3 and 6 years old. Of course I played a lot with the kids, watched them when we were alone at home and sometimes picked them up from the school bus. Also I had the chance to practise my English which is now pretty fluent. my exchange year showed me how it is to live with a new family in a new country and also how it is to live with little children, so I am a bit prepared for what might awaits me in my Au Pair year.
I want to become an Au Pair because I enjoyed my time with the children back in my host family in Canada and also love to see new countries and learn about new cultures. Before I go to university, I would like to experience something unique and I think an Au Pair year is an amazing opportunity to live in another country and also being able to help a family in their daily life and to practise another language.
