Hello!

My name is Christa and I'm a twenty-two-year-old Au Pair living in Cahersiveen, Ireland. I grew up in a family of six, and even when my siblings moved out, my love of chaotic, authentic families never left. This love for community and family led me to become an Au Pair.

I typically live with the family, so yes, sometimes I'm woken up by a young girl wanting to play dress-up. Those days I know are good days.
Other times I recognize that the house needs more attention than a tutu dress, so I'll put on my favorite apron and get to work.

My absolute favorite thing to do as an Au Pair is to get silly with the kids. I love playing the games kids come up with, no matter how goofy they may be- although I'll never let them cheat in board games. I enjoy sitting down at the table to help with homework or rolling up my sleeves and deep cleaning.

All in all, I like being involved. Dropping kids off at school and playing with them on the weekends. Mourning over math homework and celebrating after tests. I love the daily joys.

--I am an American passport holder. I have the proper visa to live and work in Ireland. I've lived in Ireland for three months already and have another 12 until my most current visa ends, a visa which I plan to renew. I have my IRP, hold a valid driver's license, and have no dietary restrictions.--
