Hello, dear future host family!

My name is Karolin, and I’m 17 years old, from Estonia.
I’m a warm, cheerful and empathetic person with a genuine passion for spending time with children. Growing up with younger siblings has taught me so much about caring, guiding, and supporting kids in fun ways.

I’m someone who values safety, positivity, neatness, responsibility, laughter and personal growth, and I believe these qualities are essential in creating a nurturing environment for children. Raised in a loving and respectful family, I understand the importance of kindness, patience and honesty. I aim to bring these values into every aspect of my work.

I’m an active person who enjoys participating in sporty activities. In my free time, I play badminton, which keeps me energetic and focused, and I also do yacht sailing, which is a hobby that has taught me a lot about patience, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure.
I enjoy being outdoors, exploring nature, cooking/baking, engaging in different kinds of arts and travelling around the world. I’m always excited to try something new, whether it’s a sport, a skill, or a cultural tradition!

I’m currently a student and I’ve completed all my classes with honors, consistently earning top grades across all subjects. Education is very important to me and I always strive to do my best.

I would like to become an Au Pair this summer because I love taking care of the little ones, helping and creating a positive and stimulating environment with them. Furthermore, the Au Pair program represents an extraordinary opportunity for me to immerse myself in your country's culture, improve my language skills, and develop greater independence.

Alongside childcare, I’m happy to help with light housework to keep everything running smoothly.
