Dear Host Family,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your interest in my application and now I would like to tell you some things about me, my family, my interests and of course about my experiences in taking care of children. This letter should give you an insight in my life and in my personality, so you can decide better if I am the right Au-pair for your family.

My name is Nesrin, I am 25 years old and I was born on the 16th of October 1998 in Kerala , India .
The first reason why I want to be an au pair in germany is to come close with children for a year. I love children. I like to care for them, to play with them and to see how they are growing up.
It’s a big dream for me since a few years to live and work in Germany and it will be a great and formative experience to share my life with your family for a whole year. I’m really excited that it will become reality soon.
An other reason for me to stay a year abroad is having the opportunity to learn about a different culture. I want to learn a lot about the “German way of life“. I see the chance to improve my German skills, to discover a new part of the world and to meet new People.
Now I would like to tell you something about my experiences with children.

Actually I am married and I have a daughter. My husband and I have been living separately for a year.My daughter is 3 years old. So far I have done everything for her.
Like feeding her, changing diapper, playing with her and put him to bed. It is a lot of fun for me to spend time with them.I encourage to improve her skills like singing, dancing and telling stories etc. It always makes me happy and forget all my sadness.
From coming june she will have started her kindergarten classes. So I decided to move for my career in Germany. My family will take care of her at that time.She will stay at my home without my presence. The best example is currently I am working as a mentor in a private institution from october onwards.

Here are some details of my life. I grew up in a little village called puthenchira in kerala in the south-west of india . I live with my family including father, mother, brother, sister and daughter . My sister (21 years old ) goes to study Medicine. My brother (17 years old) goes to study the German language . My mother is a housewife and my father works as a driver. My family stands behind me, supports me and helps me to make my dream come true. We have a good relationship with each other. In the last 3 months I have tried to learn the German language, as a result i know A2 level of German language. But I didn't have a language certificate, I have an institution certificate for completed A2 level German language.. I will write the Goethe exam in coming june. Then I decided to work as an au pair and learn the language and culture from Germany itself. Next year I will continue my education in the health and care sector and afterwards I would like to go somewhere else in order to work – for example – as an ausbildung nurse.
I passed my driver’s license in march 2017 and I drive almost daily without any accidents . During my lessons in the driving school I have also attended a first aid course.

I would describe myself as an honest, responsible, positive and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new countries and people. My Friends describe me as a good listener and a caring, respectful and dependable person.
I enjoy dancing, listening to music, going outside for a walk or jogging, meeting my friends, watching new films at the cinema, going shopping and travelling . Furthermore i would like to teach and play with children.
Why should you choose me as your au pair? It’s easy, because I am really patient in caring for kids and I love Kids. Due to my trustworthy nature, host parents do not have to worry about consigning their children to my care. The safety and well-being of your children is my priority. You can absolutely rely on me. I am a faithful and helpful person, who is delighted to spend her time with children. Your kids are always going to have fun with me, because I am open-minded for their ideas of spending the play time . I would spend much time with the host family, be a part of them and I would love to look after your children and learn more about a new city, country and the culture.
