My name is Simona and I'm 19 years old. I live in a small town in the middle of the countryside but I also like more crowded places such as cities or metropolises. I attended a technical economic institute which also included basic teaching of three languages ​​(English, German, French).
I am applying as an au pair student because my greatest passion is traveling and I consider this an excellent opportunity to do so.
I am a very kind and polite person and I like being around children and animals (my dream since I was a child was to be a teacher in kindergartens or primary schools). I worked as an animator several times in the oratory of my hometown and I was mainly responsible for organizing games, helping with homework and supervising the children more generally, avoiding disagreements and conflict situations.
A few years ago I was also looking after my 2011 cousin, as both my uncles were working. More specifically, I accompanied him to the extracurricular English course, I helped him with his homework, I changed diapers and clothes. I have a lot of patience and empathy and this allows me to manage the children in the best possible way and give them my maximum attention. I feel at ease with children also thanks to my good listening and assertiveness skills, plus I am also a creative person so I love inventing games or DIY crafts for the little ones.
As a child I practiced artistic gymnastics for almost 6 years and then I gave up to dedicate myself with more commitment to school. as for my other passions, I also like to cook especially sweets but I also get by with savory foods (on Sunday lunch I usually cook homemade dishes such as pasta, gnocchi with my mother).
Following my stay as a fashionable girl I would also like to take courses to work in veterinary clinics as a nurse abroad and therefore I think that this experience can help me improve my English, opening more doors to the world of work
