Dear host family
My name is Ruth, I am twenty two years old. I live in Zaragoza since 2019 because I study Classical Studies in the University of Zaragoza but I was born in a little village of Navarra, Larrión, there live my family. Being away from home has helped me to be more responsible and grow as a person. In the university I have studied latin, greek and spanish because of two years of my degree are the same in Spanish philology. For me, deciding to study this degree was one of the most important decisions in my life, I have learn not only language or grammatic, but also culture and history of Roma and Greece. In addition, I have meet a lot of people in Zaragoza and I have discovered a city that I love. In the future I would like to be teacher of latin and greek in high school.
I am really active person and I am always doing something, I like going to the gym and spending time with my family and my friends. Also, I read a lot in my free time, I prefer classic authors for example Charles Dikens or Jane Austen. I am very organized and worker becouse in my degree I have to study a lot and if I have a date, I am on time.
As for my experience with children, I have been baby sitter in many ocassions and I have taught english, now my pupils are from six to nine years old, I like seeing their learning evolution, helping in their difficulties and teaching in a funny way, playing games or listening music in english.
The reason why I have decided to be Au-pair is that I love children and I would like to travel, discover a different place and improve my english. This summer is the perfect time to do it because I am going to finish my degree in June and I will start a Master´s Degree in September.
