My name is Katia, I’m 25 years old, and I’m currently seeking a welcoming and caring host family for a 12-month au pair placement. I’m incredibly passionate about childcare and cultural exchange, and I would love the opportunity to become a part of your family and create unforgettable memories together.
With over 10,000 hours of professional childcare experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of various ages—from 1 to 9 years old. Currently, I care for three wonderful kids, supporting them in their daily routines including feeding, bathing, school pickups and drop-offs, homework help, and engaging playtime activities. I work 45 hours a week and have developed strong multitasking and time-management skills, as well as deep patience and emotional intelligence.
Previously, I worked as a private tutor for 4th and 5th grade students, helping them with schoolwork, reading comprehension, and building confidence in their learning. I'm took class on educational osychology abd multicultural psychology as I’m deeply interested in child-centered education and development.
What makes me unique as an au pair:
Multilingual: I speak Arabic, English, and French fluently, which helps foster better communication and cultural understanding.
Creative & Active: I love painting, storytelling, organizing craft activities, and exploring nature with children. I also enjoy going for daily walks, visiting parks, and staying active.
Well-rounded Skills: I'm infant qualified, a confident swimmer, a responsible driver, and a great cook. I’m also happy to help with light housework, meal prep, and keeping the children’s spaces tidy.
Pet Friendly: I love animals and would happily help care for pets as part of my daily routine.
Culturally Curious: I’m excited to share my own culture while embracing and learning from yours. I believe this mutual exchange builds understanding and lasting connections.
