Hello and welcome, my name is Vanessa and I am looking for an au pair who can assist me with child care during my work hours.

My daughter is due in October 2024, I have 2 dogs, and live in a townhome in a lovely town where Main Street is walking distance as is a train station that leads to Philadelphia.

My values include travel, science, and togetherness. Taking walks with, and reading to my daughter would be routine activities, while screen time and TV would be strictly forbidden unless directly authorized by myself on a case by case basis (such as a holiday movie).

Applicants must be proficient in English (B2 level and higher), and would ideally possess additional language skills in German or related languages.

You must not be allergic to dogs, must not do illegal drugs, or act irresponsibly (such as drinking on the job).

Ideal skills to possess are first aid/CPR certification, it is preferred that you know how to swim and ride a bike but it is not a requirement.

Ideal personality type: warm, outgoing, friendly, neat, and timely.

You must be comfortable with infants.

互惠生住宿条件

My home has 2 full baths, though they are small. You would have your own bedroom, which can be set up to have a TV. I have WiFi, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, and Max.

You would need to have your own personal laptop and potentially phone (though we can negotiate phones).

Laundry is on premise in the basement, the home is strictly no smoking. If you use nicotine products and vape you may do so only outside, but due to asthma and a young child I cannot permit smoking.

I have camping gear, a kayak (inflatable), and a foot-break bicycle which may be used/borrowed if returned intact and good condition on your time off, or while doing family activities such as if we walk a park and you wish to ride a bicycle.
