we are a family of three. Mom, dad and our one year old son. We live in a village close to Baden-Baden in a house with a beautiful garden in the vineyards.
In the last few years we have traveled to the USA, Australia and New Zealand and I did a semester abroad in Scotland. We speak English fluently and also have some basic knowledge of Italian and French.
Since we love to travel and learn about other cultures and have always enjoyed staying with host families, we have been thinking about hosting an au pair for a while. As my wife’s parental leave ends in October, we are looking for an au-pair who can take care of our son for a few hours a day during the week. Most of the time Melanie will be working from home so sehe will be available if needed.
We love music and also have some instruments such as a piano or drums that are welcome to be played. Our cat is also usually somewhere in the house or garden and enjoys having company.
In addition, there is a public swimming pool as well as a bus stop to Baden-Baden nearby (1 minute walk).
We love to barbecue in our garden with family and friends and to dance in our free time (dancing ourselves and giving dance lessons).
We would love to have you as part of our family and make your time with us as enjoyable as possible.

We have the Black Forest in one direction and the flat Rheinebene on the other side of our village. You can easily go hiking, running or biking.
With the bus you will easily be able to reach Bühl or Baden-Baden from where you can go to Karlsruhe, Freiburg or any other city in Germany (and Paris with the TGV as well).
