Hi!

We’re a Norwegian family of five moving to Spain in October 2025, as Karen (mum) is starting a new job in Torrevieja. Lars (dad) works offshore and is home for longer periods in between.

Our children, Signe (8), Håkon (3) and Marit (1) are active, kind and full of personality. We’re looking for a warm and responsible au pair to become a natural part of our family.

You’ll help with school runs, playtime, and household tasks, and we’ll share the responsibilities in a fair and friendly way. We believe in kindness, humour, and creating a calm and caring home together.

We are looking for a kind and responsible au pair who:
• Has experience caring for young children
• Holds a valid driver’s license
• Can swim confidently (we plan to have a pool)

Your tasks will include:
• Driving the children to and from school/kindergarten
• Playing with the kids, indoors and outdoors/learn Spanish
• Helping with meals and tidying shared spaces
• Being a calm and steady presence when one parent is away

We want you to feel like part of the family, and we’ll share tasks and routines in a relaxed, respectful way.

We are currently looking for a spacious home near the Scandinavian School in Orihuela Costa, outside Torrevieja.

You will have your own private bedroom, fast WiFi, and time to relax and enjoy your personal space. A private bathroom may be available depending on the home we choose. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for both our family and you.
