With our girls in school, we need someone to help getting them ready and bring them to school in the morning, and then then minding them in the afternoon. Although every day is different, a typical day could look like this (open for discussion with the au pair):

*Start around 7.15am. Pack their lunchboxes, help them get dressed and ready for school
*Bring both of them to their respective schools (they are different locations) by tram around 8am
*Once home, clear up the girls' breakfasts and maybe put on a wash with their clothes
*Then free from 9.30am to 12.15am, can spend time on hobbies, sport, studying
*Pick up the girls from their school
*Take girls for a walk, or one of their activities (such as swimming, library visits).
*Play with them in the house, ideally doing something creative (like arts and crafts).
*Prepare dinner for 5pm.
*Clear up the kids' playroom and kitchen.
*The standard day will end at 6pm, totalling to 40h/week- any overtime will be paid extra (to be agreed as part of contract).

Generally, one of us will be working from home every day, which means we are available in case of any questions or issues.

Our perfect candidate:

*Loves children, and has some experience minding them.
*Is punctual - we need to be able to count on her.
*Is flexible - sometimes we might need some help on evenings or weekends.
*Can give her undivided attention to our girls, and come up with creative ways of entertaining them.
*Has good conversational English - knowledge of Dutch is a big plus.
*Respects our privacy, as we will do with hers.
*Can stay with us for at least 6 months to allow for some consistency in the family.
*Can start in summer 2025
*Has an EU passport or working permit and is free to travel around Europe.
