Hello,
My name is Nick and I live with my wife who is the same age as I am. I am legally blind and it is getting progressively worse. I also have peripheral neuropathy.

My wife is a fully disabled veteran and able to take care of herself, mostly. We need some assistance due to my inability to drive, due household tasks, prepare meals when necessary, attend appoinments, etc.

We are/were very active and when my eye-sight began to deteriorate we adjusted. With the peripheral neuropathy it has now become painful to do many tasks. My wife adjusted to the needs but then suffered a heart attack last July and must reduce her help to me and tasks which I cant compensate for.

We live in the country, its quiet, surrounded by farms. There is a small city 40 minutes from us and larger ones within an hours drive. We have 3 cats so you must love cats, they are friendly.

We like to vacation when we can and the right candidate would accompany us on some of those, at our expense.
We have an addition to the garage which is a fully functional small apartment so you would be able to live apart yet still here if the need arises. All room and board are covered by us and a small pocket money stipend is included as well.
