We’re happy to see that you’re interested in our little family! We are Saskia (35), Marc (37), Zoe (2,5) and our latest member Ben (9 month). We live in Stuttgart Sillenbuch just 12 min away from the city center by public transport. Sillenbuch is a very family friendly area that offers many playgrounds and other opportunities for children.

We want our future Au-pair to help take care of the kids and do some light household work but also become part of our family, joining us for breakfast and dinner and in social and weekend activities from time to time. Over the last 1.5 years, we already had the chance to host two very nice Au-Pairs and have therefore a good idea about how to ensure that this becomes a great experience for everyone.

Stuttgart is often regarded as the automotive center of the country and is - with a total population of close to 3mio people in the metropolitan area - one of the biggest in Germany. The center is quite vibrant with plenty of international restaurants and communities.

Almost needless to say but there are plenty of language schools around (even in the neighborhood) and if you’re interested in taking up any sport or other hobbies during your stay, you’ll likely find the opportunity to do so. Stuttgart is also a good hub for traveling, with the Alps only two hours away, Munich and Frankfurt both reachable by train in less than two hours, and the international airport only 15min away from our home.
