Hello, my name is Sofía, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Colombia, but I’m currently living in Spain.

I have a deep passion for music — I sing and play the guitar, ukulele, and a bit of piano. I also enjoy sports like volleyball, jogging, and tennis. I love spending time in nature, a passion that started in my childhood when I used to climb trees and visit my grandparents’ farm full of animals.

I’m very curious about new cultures and love exploring beautiful places. I have a strong affection for children, and over the years I’ve had the joy of caring for them, sharing time with them, and learning from them. This is one of the main reasons why I love to be an au pair.

I had the opportunity to be an au pair in the UK with a wonderful family with two children aged 6 and 8. It was an amazing experience, and I’m still in touch with them. During my time there, I improved my English and also helped the children learn Spanish.

I see myself as a positive, responsible, and supportive young woman. I was raised with strong values and I’m always willing to learn, help, and give my best.

For the past five years, I’ve also been involved in social work with children, teaching music and providing youth counseling in my church.

Now, I’m looking for a new hostfamily, live a meaningful experience with a new family to continue growing personally and culturally.
