Hello, my name is Emma, I'm 22 and I'm from Hampshire in England, but I'm in my final year at the University of Leeds. I am currently studying Chinese, and I want to find a way to immerse myself in Chinese speaking culture to both improve my language skills and learn more about Chinese culture.
I would love to be an Au Pair or a Nanny because I love spending time with children. I have a nephew who is nearly 4, and a niece who is 7 months old, and I regularly spend time looking after and playing with them to help my brother out.
I am a very neat, tidy, quiet and sensible person, and if you were to host me I would not disturb your home routine. I always seek to do my best in every job I've had, and I find work very fulfilling.

As I explained my brother has two children, so I am very comfortable around young children. I am experienced playing, bathing and feeding kids, and I would do my best to help your children learn from the world around them.
I would love to be able to travel to a Chinese speaking country and practise my language skills that I have developed over the past 4 years. I would like to get my Mandarin to a conversational level, as at the moment my listening comprehension surpasses my speaking. I also did two beginner Cantonese modules last year, and it would be great if I could pick that up again.
