1. Who you are?
Hello, my name is Fernanda, I'm 38 years old (I know that because of my age I can't work in this field, but I'll give you a few reasons why you should hire me).
I took care of my mother for 8 years and I stopped my life (social and professional) to take care of her 24 hours a day. She was in a vegetative state. I'm not a nurse, but in all those years I learned to do all the possible maneuvers and procedures that a health professional should do. My home was an ICU with hospital equipment. She had tracheostomy devices and was fed through an infusion pump. I cleaned and did everything I could to help her in bed. She passed away two months ago and now, after all this time, I want to pursue my dream. My dream is to care for others in another country. Whether it's an elderly person or a child.
2.Why you want to become an Nanny & Caregiver for the elderly?
I love children, I have an enormous affection and care for my little cousins. I also love taking care of people who need help (no matter how old they are). I love the USA and have lived in Washington for three months. I've always dreamed of going back to the US and working there. So I could combine the useful with the pleasant. Working with what I love most in the country I identify with most.
3.Why the candidate should host you?
I have an inexplicable affection and zeal for human beings. After I took care of my mother, this feeling became more acute. The people around me notice this and also agree and support me in applying to work in this area. I have a special way, I love life. I like to make the environment around me happier and more welcoming. I always like to keep everything clean and organized. I know my limits and always try to work professionally. I have no problem working overtime, I'm always active and ready to work.
4. Why you qualify for the position?
I was born for this. I think I have a divine gift for caring for others. With experience of looking after small cousins and nephews, as well as a bedridden mother, it's easy to qualify for the position.
