儿童照看经验
I have a strong background in childcare having worked with children across a wide range of ages and needs.
In the summer of 2019, I worked at a primary school with children aged 8 to 10, where I helped with classroom activities, supervised play, and supported the teaching staff. More recently in the summer of 2024, I worked in a nursery caring for babies and toddlers ranging from newborns to around four or five years old. This role taught me how to balance attentiveness, patience, and creativity while supporting young children through their early developmental stages.
I’ve also worked in a secondary school environment with pupils aged 11 to 17, including those with additional learning needs. This experience helped me build strong communication skills and gave me the confidence to adapt to different learning styles and behavioural needs. I’m used to long, active days and genuinely enjoy being part of a child’s learning and growth journey, whether it’s helping them with a new skill, encouraging independence, or simply offering a safe and caring environment.
What draws me to becoming an au pair or nanny abroad is the opportunity to combine my love for childcare with my interest in exploring new cultures and ways of life. I’m excited about the idea of becoming part of a new household, building meaningful relationships, and continuing to do what I love in an international setting.
