My first experience working as an au pair was from August -November 2023. I flew to a Greek island and spent my summer caring for a 2 year old. An average day we would start with breakfast and a trip to the shop or park, we would play, dance and learn (colours , shapes , words), I would prepare a lunch and put him down for a nap, I would sometimes use this time to help clean around. After naptime we would have a snack followed by more learning and dancing, depending on the heat we would take a trip to the park in the evening, or we would stay indoors and bake, i would help / prepare dinner and finish the day with a movie or a game before bedtime.
