Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Marirose. I live in the United States and hold American nationality with Nigerian roots. I would be honored to become a part of your family as an au pair and nanny. I bring with me a warm heart, a love for children, and a true desire to help make your everyday life a little lighter and more joyful.

I want to become an au pair and nanny because caring for children is something that feels natural and deeply meaningful to me. I love supporting their growth, creating safe and fun routines, and being someone they can trust. I am also excited about experiencing new cultures. I would love to go to the United Kingdom, but I am open to other countries as well. I see this as a beautiful exchange where we both get to learn from one another and build a strong, respectful connection.

If you welcome me into your home, I will bring calm, creativity, and kindness into each day. I value patience, clear communication, and working as a team. I will take care of your children with thoughtfulness and joy, and I will treat your home with care and respect.

I am confident I am a great fit for this role. I have years of experience caring for children of all ages, including those with special needs or emotional/medical challenges. I have experience working with twins and multiples. I speak English and have a gentle, steady nature that helps children feel safe and supported. I am dependable, nurturing, and always ready to help however I can.

I love to stay active and creative, and I try to bring that same energy into how I care for children. I have my CPR/AED/First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults. I have a certification in Water Safety for children. Additionally, I hold a Child Development Associate credential and am well informed about age-appropriate milestones for children at every stage. I also have been a caregiver.

While I have not worked as an au pair yet, I have years of experience as a nanny and caregiver in the United States. I have cared for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and have supported families with everything from school routines to emotional growth. I have also worked with children who have special needs and understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating a calm and loving environment.

My work as a nanny has been more than just a job. It has been a way to build real and lasting relationships with children and their families. I truly enjoy helping kids feel seen, safe, and supported while encouraging their curiosity and confidence. I also have worked as a caregiver.

I would love to become an au pair and nanny abroad because I believe it is a meaningful way to experience a new culture while continuing the work I care deeply about. I look forward to learning from the family I live with, sharing everyday moments together, and being a steady and joyful part of the children’s lives.
