Hi!
I’m Millie, I’m from Australia and am travelling/working in the UK and Europe for 2 years till February 2024 on a UK travel/work visa to gain experiences & memories!. I am currently working as an au pair with a family in Cambridge, but am looking for a new family to work with after my contract ends in August 2023 (ideally September 2023 - February 2024). I have worked at PGL and done some Europe travels whilst being here as well!

Before I began my travels, I worked at PGL Bawdsey Manor for 3 months as an Activity Instructor and Group Leader. It was a very meaningful job working with the young children to help them overcome any fears on outdoor activities and to see their increased confidence at the end of their stay.
I have two younger siblings back home in Australia who I absolutely adore and miss whilst I’ve been overseas! I babysat my neighbour’s children numerous times when the parents went out for a night. Taking care of my siblings, neighbours' children and guests at PGL has increased my abilities to interact and understand children’s needs, how to keep them happy & have fun and most importantly feel safe and welcomed.
I am a very determined, bubbly, passionate, enthusiastic, soulful and kind person who loves putting smiles on children's faces but also takes care of the well-being and safety of the children at all times.
